Three sent to hospital after Mississauga crash
Three people were sent to hospital after a crash in Mississauga on Tuesday morning. The crash happened on Hurontario Street near Eglinton Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. Police say that a car and a pickup truck collided, causing the car to roll over. The three people in the car were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
Man charged following convenience store robberies in Toronto and Mississauga
A 35-year-old man has been charged following four convenience store robberies in Toronto and Mississauga. The robberies happened between April 25 and April 29. Police say that the man entered the stores, brandished a knife, and demanded cash. The man was arrested on Monday in Mississauga. He has been charged with four counts of robbery and four counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Number of high-end stolen vehicles found in Mississauga
A number of high-end stolen vehicles were found in Mississauga earlier this month. Police say that four suspects were in the process of stripping the vehicles for parts when they were arrested. The vehicles were found in a warehouse on Dixie Road. Police say that the vehicles are worth a total of over $1 million.
